Overview:

 

Our client is seeking experienced Bioinformatics Scientists to contribute to an innovative AI initiative focused on advancing research in medicinal chemistry and computational biology.

 

In this role, you'll apply your expertise in bioinformatics, cheminformatics, and drug discovery to help train next-generation AI systems. Your scientific knowledge will improve how AI analyzes biological and chemical data, interprets research findings, and supports modern drug development.

 

No previous AI industry experience is required—your expertise in bioinformatics and medicinal chemistry is what matters most.

 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex medicinal chemistry and bioinformatics datasets.
• Curate, annotate, and validate biological and chemical data for AI training.
• Evaluate biological, chemical, and clinical research findings.
• Provide subject matter expertise on experimental design and scientific data interpretation.
• Assess AI-generated scientific outputs for accuracy and reliability.
• Deliver written scientific feedback and recommendations to improve AI models.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute real-world scientific knowledge to next-generation AI systems.

 

Requirements:

 

• Strong background in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, or related fields.
• Experience analyzing biological, chemical, or omics datasets.
• Knowledge of medicinal chemistry concepts, including:
• Structure–Activity Relationships (SAR)
• Drug Discovery
• Molecular Analysis
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal scientific communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• MSc or PhD in:
• Bioinformatics
• Computational Biology
• Medicinal Chemistry
• Related discipline
• Experience with:
• Python
• R
• RDKit
• KNIME
• Experience working with large-scale omics or cheminformatics datasets.
• Research experience at the intersection of biology, chemistry, and data science.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams.
