Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is engaging Compliance Attorneys to participate in a dynamic project for a valued client. In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to help train and refine next-generation AI systems. Your work will directly shape how machine learning models learn, reason, and perform using high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required—your legal domain knowledge is what matters most.

 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents and compliance materials to inform AI system development.
• Draft detailed explanations, rationales, and responses to complex compliance scenarios to enhance machine learning datasets.
• Evaluate and critique AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, logic, and adherence to U.S. compliance standards.
• Collaborate remotely with project leads and technical specialists to provide expert guidance on nuanced compliance and regulatory questions.
• Develop scenario-based questions and answers reflecting current trends and challenges in compliance law.
• Identify ambiguities or potential legal pitfalls in AI outputs and provide actionable recommendations for clarity and precision.
• Contribute constructive feedback on process enhancements to support the continuous refinement of AI training protocols.

 

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and an active attorney license in good standing.
• 3 to 15 years of recent, substantive experience practicing compliance law within the United States.
• Strong expertise in compliance law, legal document analysis, legal writing, regulatory research, and U.S. law knowledge.
• Sharp attention to detail, critical thinking, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote collaborative environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior judicial clerkship experience (service as a clerk for a judge).
• Experience teaching law courses or legal writing at accredited law schools.
• Legal journal editorial experience during law school.
