Overview:

 

Our client is seeking Junior Mainframe Developers (COBOL) to contribute to an innovative AI initiative focused on legacy system modernization and enterprise software.

 

In this role, you'll apply your COBOL and mainframe expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your knowledge of legacy applications, program logic, and enterprise workflows will improve AI's ability to understand, analyze, and document COBOL-based systems.

 

No prior AI experience is required—your COBOL expertise is what matters most.

 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document COBOL programs used in legacy systems.
• Interpret program logic, data flow, and business processes.
• Explain technical concepts in clear written and verbal English.
• Review technical documentation and project requirements.
• Contribute domain expertise to improve AI training datasets.
• Help identify integration points within legacy applications.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers and technical teams.
• Provide feedback to improve AI-generated technical content.
