Overview:

 

Our client is seeking experienced Mainframe Developers (COBOL) to contribute to an innovative AI initiative focused on legacy systems and enterprise software modernization.

 

In this role, you'll apply your expertise in COBOL development and mainframe technologies to help train next-generation AI systems. Your real-world experience will improve AI's ability to understand legacy applications, business logic, and enterprise workflows.

 

No previous AI industry experience is required—your COBOL expertise is what matters most.

 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret existing COBOL codebases.
• Document COBOL program logic, workflows, and business rules.
• Evaluate sample code and provide technical feedback.
• Review and annotate COBOL scripts and pseudocode.
• Design realistic test cases based on enterprise applications.
• Identify edge cases and complex business logic scenarios.
• Collaborate remotely with technical experts and project teams.
• Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.

 

Requirements:

 

• Strong experience developing applications with COBOL.
• Knowledge of mainframe environments and legacy enterprise systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience interpreting complex business logic.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
