
Sourcebridge Co. is seeking detail-oriented Mechanical Engineers with 2+ years of experience to join a major client project training advanced AI and robotics systems.
In this role, you will analyze, evaluate, and annotate videos involving mechanical systems, robotic components, tools, and physical interactions. Your technical background ensures AI training data remains precise and grounded in real-world physics. No prior AI or machine learning experience is required—your domain expertise in mechanical design and physical systems is what counts.
• Core Engineering: 3D CAD Modeling (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), Mechanical System Design
• Domain Knowledge: Robotics, Kinematics, Component Behavior, Tool Interaction, Manufacturing Systems
• Technical Execution: Video Annotation, Data Labeling, Technical Documentation, Anomaly Identification
• Professional Skills: Strong Attention to Detail, Asynchronous Communication, Self-Directed Problem Solving
• Video & Movement Annotation: Review and label objects, actions, mechanical interactions, and task sequences in video feeds of robotic systems.
• Technical Verification: Identify mechanical details including motion dynamics, part positioning, component behavior, and physical tolerances.
• Quality Control: Audit video annotations for technical accuracy, consistency, and alignment with engineering principles.
• Guideline Feedback: Provide expert feedback on complex or ambiguous mechanical tasks to help refine data annotation guidelines.
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Robotics, Manufacturing, or related fields.
• Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of mechanical parts, assembly movement, machines, and physical interactions.
• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CAD platforms (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo) or robotic/automation systems.
• Details & Language: Excellent written English and sharp attention to detail for precise video classification.
