Overview:

This remote opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in outpatient professional fee coding, coding audits, and academic medical centers. Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits of outpatient professional fee coding records.
• Review coding accuracy and compliance.
• Identify coding trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Apply academic medical center coding standards.
• Document audit findings and recommendations.
• Evaluate complex coding scenarios.
• Support audit program management initiatives.
• Collaborate with project teams remotely.

 

Requirements:

• 10+ years of medical coding experience.
• Expertise in outpatient professional fee coding.
• Coding audit experience.
• Academic Medical Center experience.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Audit program management experience.
• Proven coding accuracy.
• Experience providing quality improvement recommendations.
• Experience supporting AI or technology-driven projects is a plus.
