Overview:

 

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Microbiologists to contribute their expertise to an innovative AI training initiative. This role offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge of microbiology to help improve next-generation AI systems through accurate scientific analysis, research, and high-quality technical input.

 

No prior AI experience is required—your expertise in microbiology is what matters most.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Investigate the development, morphology, and behaviour of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and algae.
• Analyse microbial physiology and their role in health, disease, and environmental systems.
• Evaluate the effects of antibiotics and other antimicrobial agents on microbial populations.
• Document research findings with clarity and scientific accuracy.
• Support AI training by translating microbiological knowledge into structured datasets.
• Collaborate remotely with interdisciplinary scientific teams.
• Review scientific content to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Apply established evaluation criteria to improve AI training workflows.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of bacteria, fungi, algae, and microbial physiology.
• Experience investigating microbial structure and function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to document scientific processes accurately.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to scientific excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Master's or PhD in Microbiology or a related discipline.
• Experience developing scientific evaluation criteria or research rubrics.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or scientific annotation projects.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams.
• Published research or laboratory experience is an advantage.
