Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Software Developers to contribute their technical expertise to a dynamic digital innovation and AI evaluation project.

 

In this role, you’ll apply your software development experience to realistic programming challenges, code reviews, software architecture, and technical documentation that help inform the development of next-generation AI systems.

 

No prior AI experience is required. Your software engineering expertise and practical development knowledge are what matter.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
• Develop using technologies such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and full-stack frameworks.
• Conduct detailed code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
• Evaluate code for functionality, performance, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and recommend industry best practices.
• Analyze technical requirements and develop efficient, high-quality solutions.
• Provide real-world programming examples, explanations, and problem-solving approaches.
• Document technical reasoning and development decisions for AI evaluation and training purposes.
• Communicate technical findings, challenges, and solutions clearly with project stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

• Strong professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or full-stack development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and development best practices.
• Experience reviewing and improving complex codebases.
• Knowledge of software architecture and scalable application design.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into practical software solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional, consulting, or specialist experience in software development.
• Demonstrated expertise designing or reviewing complex software architectures.
• Strong experience with code review processes and peer feedback.
• Experience producing clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly technical documentation.
• Full-stack development experience is a plus.
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts.
• Experience contributing to technology training datasets is a plus.
