Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers to contribute their technical expertise to an innovative project supporting the training and improvement of next-generation AI systems.

 

In this role, you’ll use your software engineering experience to create and evaluate challenging environments that test AI models on real-world software engineering tasks, including bug fixing, feature implementation, code refactoring, and performance optimization.

 

No prior AI experience is required — your software engineering expertise is what matters.

 

Experts will create reproducible environments and golden reference solutions for complex software engineering problems.

 

 

Scope of Work:

• Contribute expert-level code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights.
• Work with languages including Python 3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, and TypeScript.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex software defects.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across diverse codebases.
• Implement robust new features with scalability and maintainability in mind.
• Refactor legacy code to improve clarity, efficiency, and reliability.
• Optimize software performance using sound engineering practices.
• Create reproducible environments for software engineering challenges.
• Develop accurate golden reference solutions.
• Document technical reasoning, solution approaches, and implementation decisions.
• Review and validate peer-contributed code and technical submissions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Significant hands-on expertise in at least one of:
• Python 3
• Java
• Rust
• Go
• C++
• TypeScript
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Proven ability to debug complex software systems.
• Experience resolving bugs and implementing effective optimizations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable, and reliable code.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with large and complex codebases.
• Experience with legacy system refactoring and modernization.
• Track record of delivering high-impact features from conception through implementation.
• Experience working on cross-functional engineering projects.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Experience reviewing code or technical submissions.
• Interest in AI and emerging AI technologies is a plus.
• Previous AI experience is not required.

Compensation Structure:

Compensation is output-based. Experts are paid per task that meets the project specifications.

 

The time required to complete each task may vary depending on the expert’s experience and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply, and experts must submit a minimum number of tasks per week.
