Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Backend C#/.NET Developers to contribute their software engineering expertise to projects involving next-generation AI systems.

 

In this role, you’ll apply your real-world backend development knowledge to help improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform. You’ll work primarily with C#, .NET, MySQL, backend services, and APIs while contributing high-quality technical insights and solutions.

 

No prior AI experience is required. Your software engineering expertise and domain knowledge are what matter most.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using C# and .NET frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Optimize backend processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues in production and staging environments.
• Design and maintain database schemas and optimize MySQL queries.
• Document technical specifications, backend architecture, and development processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and development standards.

 

Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Strong experience working with MySQL, including database schema design and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of server-side development and backend architecture.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of integration patterns and backend service architecture.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing and deploying cloud-hosted applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working with distributed engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working in high-growth or innovation-driven technology environments.
• Experience with scalable backend architectures and production systems.
