About the Role:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking highly experienced Child & Youth Abuse Trauma Specialists to contribute specialized clinical expertise to an advanced project focused on improving AI systems that address sensitive mental health and youth-abuse-related scenarios.

 

This opportunity is designed for professionals with deep, direct experience supporting young people who have experienced abuse. Your expertise will help ensure that AI-generated content reflects appropriate clinical judgment, trauma-informed practices, ethical standards, sensitivity, and safeguards for vulnerable populations.

 

No prior AI experience is required. Your specialized clinical expertise is what matters most.

 
Scope of Work:
  • As a Child & Youth Abuse Trauma Specialist, you will:
  • Analyze and contribute to case-based scenarios reflecting the complexities of youth abuse and trauma.
  • Review and assess AI-generated mental health guidance related to abuse and trauma scenarios.
  • Provide detailed clinical and ethical feedback on model-generated responses.
  • Develop and curate content describing appropriate trauma-informed practices for young abuse survivors.
  • Identify gaps, inaccuracies, inappropriate assumptions, or potentially harmful recommendations in AI-generated content.
  • Evaluate whether responses appropriately reflect the needs and vulnerabilities of young abuse survivors.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables align with current professional standards.
  • Participate in iterative review cycles to improve the quality, sensitivity, and safety of training content.
  • Document recommendations designed to improve the accuracy, appropriateness, and safety of AI-generated outputs.
  • Maintain strict attention to privacy, confidentiality, professional ethics, and the well-being of vulnerable populations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MD, PhD in Psychology, or PhD in Social Work with completed credentials.
  • Extensive professional clinical experience working with youth who are victims of abuse.
  • A primary or highly specialized professional focus on child and youth abuse trauma.
  • Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed practices and interventions for young survivors.
  • Active clinical engagement in the field.
  • Significant professional experience supporting individuals affected by child or youth abuse.
  • Strong understanding of ethical decision-making and safeguarding vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to critically evaluate sensitive mental health guidance and identify inaccuracies or inappropriate recommendations.
  • Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to privacy, confidentiality, ethical standards, and participant well-being.
