Job Overview:

Sourcebridge Co. is seeking detail-oriented Content Writers & Editors to join an innovative, high-impact project for our client. In this role, you will apply your linguistic and editorial expertise to evaluate, refine, and grade text quality—directly shaping how next-generation AI models learn, reason, and express natural language.

 

No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge, mastery of English syntax, and sharp eye for content quality are what matter most.

 

Required Skills & Tech Stack:

• Editorial Mastery: Content Writing Evaluation, Proofreading, Line Editing, Grammar & Syntax Expertise
• AI Quality Assessment: Identifying "AI slop," generic phrasing, tone inconsistencies, and low-quality artificial outputs
• Language Proficiency: Exceptional Native-Level English (Written & Verbal)
• Attention to Detail: Fine-grained textual analysis, style guide adherence, and structural precision
• Collaboration & Time Management: Remote Collaboration, Constructive Feedback Delivery, Self-Directed Workflow

 

Responsibilities & Scope of Work:

• Text Evaluation & Editing: Assess the clarity, coherence, and factual precision of written content to ensure alignment with project quality benchmarks.
• AI Slop Identification: Review AI-generated language outputs, annotating low-quality text, repetitive phrasing, or unnatural speech patterns.
• Editorial Improvement: Edit raw documents for grammar, syntax, tone, and logical flow while maintaining high editorial standards.
• Actionable Feedback: Provide structured, written justifications and constructive critique on writing submissions to improve training datasets.
• Dataset Quality Assurance: Partner remotely with project leaders to refine AI training inputs and meet project timelines consistently.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven Track Record: Professional experience in copy editing, technical writing, publishing, or content quality assurance.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Linguistics, or related field (or equivalent teaching/editorial experience).
• Distinction Awareness: Strong ability to discern delicate nuances between human-authored prose and synthetic AI generation.
• Regional Availability: Primary preference for candidates located within Australia / Asia-Pacific (APAC) time zones for optimal project coverage.
• Self-Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle independent assignments remotely.

 

Compensation Structure:

• Compensation: $20 – $70 / hour equivalent (Output-based compensation structure per verified submission).
