Overview:
SourceBridge Co. is seeking an experienced Data Partnerships Lead to build and scale a high-performing data partnerships function.
This leadership role focuses on helping organizations unlock new opportunities by contributing operational workflow data for AI training and evaluation. You’ll define the partnership acquisition strategy, lead relationships with strategic partners, build scalable processes, and develop a team capable of expanding partnerships across industries.
The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgment, executive presence, partnership-building expertise, and an entrepreneurial approach to building systems from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overall strategy for acquiring and growing data partnerships.
- Build, hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing Data Partnerships team.
- Establish scalable pipeline-generation strategies, outbound approaches, and partnership playbooks.
- Personally manage relationships with high-value companies and executive stakeholders.
- Coach team members on discovery, qualification, negotiation, and consultative partnership development.
- Develop repeatable frameworks for evaluating and prioritizing partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Legal, and Data teams to improve partner onboarding and experience.
- Build reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics to improve partnership acquisition.
- Contribute to pricing models, partnership structures, commercial strategy, and market positioning.
- Establish a culture of execution, customer focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading Business Development, Partnerships, or Enterprise Sales teams in high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated success building partnership or commercial acquisition programs from the ground up.
- Experience hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing customer-facing teams.
- Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships with founders, operators, and senior business leaders.
- Exceptional commercial judgment and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of consultative sales methodologies and complex partnership cycles.
- Experience discussing AI, data privacy, security, confidentiality, and data ownership with executive stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward execution.
- Ability to build scalable processes and systems in an evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading Strategic Partnerships or Business Development organizations in AI, SaaS, data, marketplaces, or technology companies.
- Experience in Venture Capital, particularly investment or platform roles with a strong startup ecosystem network.
- Experience in Private Equity portfolio operations, value creation, or similar operational roles.
- Familiarity with data licensing, data acquisition, or emerging AI infrastructure markets.
- Experience developing commercial partnerships involving complex data or technology products.
