Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking qualified Developmental Psychologists and Child Development experts with PhD-level expertise to contribute to an innovative project at the intersection of psychology and technology.

 

In this role, you will apply your knowledge of child development and developmental psychology to help train and improve next-generation AI systems. Your expertise will help models better understand developmental concepts, learning, behavior, and real-world situations involving children.

 

No prior AI experience is required. Your domain expertise in developmental psychology and child development is what matters.

 

This opportunity is particularly well suited to professionals with research or academic experience related to child development or developmental psychology, whether or not they have direct clinical experience.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets related to child development and developmental psychology for AI training.
• Provide detailed feedback on the accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance of data and AI model outputs.
• Contribute expert analysis to scenario development, test cases, and real-world situations involving children's learning and behavior.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to inform AI model improvements and maintain psychological integrity.
• Create or refine guidelines that help AI systems appropriately address linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development across diverse backgrounds.
• Document findings, observations, and recommendations clearly and thoroughly to support ongoing AI research and development.

 

 

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in child development and/or developmental psychology.
• Ability to evaluate information through a developmental psychology perspective.
• Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable reviewing and providing detailed feedback on digital content and datasets.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Experience with research or academic work involving child development.
• Experience with technology-driven, digital, or AI-focused projects related to child development is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working remotely on digital platforms and contributing independently within a distributed team.

 

Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is prioritized:

 

Japanese, French, Tagalog, Malay, Lithuanian, Russian, Georgian, Polish, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Vietnamese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Turkish, Gujarati, or Bulgarian.
