About the Role:
SourceBridge Co. is seeking qualified Developmental Psychology PhDs and Child Development Specialists to contribute their expertise to an advanced project at the intersection of psychology and technology.
In this role, you will apply your academic and research expertise to help evaluate and improve next-generation AI systems. Your work will contribute high-quality, expert input that helps AI models better understand, reason about, and respond to topics related to child development and developmental psychology.
No prior AI experience is required. Your domain expertise is what matters.
This opportunity is particularly suited to professionals with academic, research, or professional experience in child development or developmental psychology, with or without direct clinical experience.
Scope of Work:
As a Developmental Psychology Specialist, you will:
- Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets related to child development and developmental psychology for AI training.
- Provide detailed expert feedback on the accuracy, developmental relevance, and cultural appropriateness of data and AI-generated outputs.
- Contribute expert analysis to scenarios, test cases, and real-world situations involving children's learning and behavior.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support improvements in AI model performance.
- Help ensure AI-generated content reflects appropriate developmental and psychological principles.
- Create or refine guidelines addressing linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development across diverse populations.
- Document findings, observations, and recommendations clearly to support ongoing AI research and development.
- Identify developmental inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or inappropriate assumptions in model outputs.
- Apply research-based knowledge to evaluate whether scenarios appropriately reflect different stages and contexts of child development.
- Contribute to iterative review and evaluation processes designed to improve AI-generated content.

What We're Looking For:
- PhD in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated academic, research, or professional expertise related to child development.
- Ability to analyze psychological and developmental concepts critically.

- Ability to independently complete detailed evaluation and review tasks.
- Comfortable working with digital platforms and distributed teams.
- Ability to provide nuanced feedback on developmental and psychological content.
- Direct clinical experience is not required if you have strong relevant academic or research expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on technology-driven, digital, or AI-related projects relevant to child development.
- Academic research experience in developmental psychology or child development.
- Experience evaluating research materials, datasets, scenarios, or written content.
- Familiarity with developmental research methodologies.
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations or multilingual content.
- Strong analytical writing and evidence-based reasoning skills.
