Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers for a remote contractor opportunity focused on modern, scalable cloud infrastructure and next-generation AI systems.

 

This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in automation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and Linux who are interested in applying their technical knowledge to AI training and evaluation.

 

No prior AI experience is required. Your real-world DevOps expertise will help create high-quality technical inputs that improve how advanced AI systems learn, reason, and perform.

Responsibilities:

• Design realistic DevOps tasks based on production-style scenarios involving CI/CD, containers, orchestration, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and incident response.
• Develop working reference solutions with clear setup and validation instructions.
• Review AI-generated technical output and identify errors, failures, and potential improvements.
• Write precise corrections and explain the technical reasoning behind them.
• Maintain high standards for correctness, reliability, and reproducibility.
• Provide structured feedback to improve future task design and AI performance.
• Apply practical DevOps and infrastructure engineering experience to real-world technical scenarios.

 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong coding ability in Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript.
• Practical experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Advanced Linux and Git skills.
• Strong professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
• Background in security, secrets management, or platform reliability.
• Open-source contributions or technical writing experience.
• Previous experience with AI training data, model evaluation, or related AI projects.
• Experience designing reproducible technical environments and production-style infrastructure scenarios.
