Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking skilled Frontend Engineers to contribute their UI development expertise to an advanced AI evaluation project.

 

In this role, you’ll work on realistic frontend engineering challenges involving user interface development, debugging, component design, state management, and performance improvements. You’ll help create reproducible environments and reference solutions that evaluate how AI systems solve practical frontend problems.

 

No prior AI experience is required. Your frontend development expertise and ability to build clean, reliable interfaces are what matter.

Responsibilities:

• Create clear code samples, debugging approaches, and frontend development solutions.
• Work with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve UI bugs, layout issues, and state-related problems.
• Build small to medium-sized interface features using clean and reusable components.
• Improve existing frontend code for readability, performance, consistency, and maintainability.
• Create reproducible environments for frontend software evaluation tasks.
• Develop accurate reference solutions for practical UI development challenges.
• Document technical reasoning, approaches, and implementation decisions.
• Review peer-contributed code and technical submissions for correctness and clarity.
• Apply modern frontend development practices to realistic software engineering scenarios.

 

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of hands-on frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Knowledge of component-based architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot UI and rendering issues.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools.
• Ability to reason about application state and component behavior.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good technical documentation and communication abilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience debugging complex UI and state-management issues.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization.
• Experience working across unfamiliar codebases.
• Familiarity with creating reproducible development environments.
• Experience reviewing or evaluating frontend code.
• Knowledge of modern frontend testing practices.
• Interest in AI, machine learning, or AI coding systems.
• Previous AI experience is a plus but not required.
