Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Funds Attorneys for a part-time remote opportunity at the intersection of legal expertise and artificial intelligence.

 

This opportunity is designed for attorneys with strong experience in fund formation and fund-related legal matters who want to contribute to the development, training, and evaluation of advanced AI systems used in real-world legal work.

 

In this role, you will review and assess AI-generated legal work, perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, and provide expert feedback to help improve the accuracy, consistency, and legal judgment of AI systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises involving fund-related agreements.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to legal and contract scenarios.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI model performance and legal reasoning.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for assessing AI performance.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, risk identification, and legal judgment.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal data, guidelines, and best practices.
• Apply practical funds-law expertise to AI-driven legal review workflows.

 

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
• Familiarity with standard fund-related agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Demonstrated interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to AI, legal technology, or AI training/evaluation initiatives.
• Experience with complex fund formation or fund management matters.
• Familiarity with private equity, venture capital, or other investment fund structures.
