Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced M&A Attorneys for a part-time opportunity at the intersection of legal expertise and artificial intelligence.

 

This opportunity is designed for attorneys with strong mergers and acquisitions experience who want to contribute to the development, training, and evaluation of advanced AI systems used in real-world legal work.

 

In this role, you will review and assess contract-related AI workflows, perform simulated negotiations and redlining exercises, and provide expert legal feedback to help improve the accuracy, precision, and judgment of AI models.

Responsibilities:

• Perform simulated M&A contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to legal and contract scenarios.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI model performance and legal reasoning.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI performance.
• Assess AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, risk identification, and legal judgment.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal data, guidelines, and best practices.
• Contribute practical M&A expertise to AI-driven legal technology solutions.

 

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
• Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs) and Stock Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Demonstrated interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to AI, legal technology, or AI training/evaluation initiatives.
• Experience working with private equity firms.
• Additional experience handling complex M&A transactions.
