Overview:

 

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Mechanical Design / CAD Experts to contribute to an innovative AI training initiative. In this role, you'll apply your expertise in mechanical design, CAD modeling, manufacturing, and engineering analysis to help train next-generation AI systems.

 

No previous AI experience is required—your engineering expertise is what matters most.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and evaluate mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
• Review engineering drawings for accuracy and GD&T compliance.
• Assess Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and tolerance analysis.
• Provide expertise in engineering mechanics, tribology, and geometric modeling.
• Review and improve CAD models and technical documentation.
• Validate AI-generated engineering content and design solutions.
• Create clear technical explanations for AI training purposes.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

 

Requirements:

 

• Strong experience in Mechanical Design and CAD.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFM.
• Experience creating and reviewing engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar CAD software.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering and product development.
• Strong understanding of tribology and engineering mechanics.
• CSWP or CSWE certification is an advantage.
• Experience with production design and complex mechanical assemblies.
