Overview:

We're looking for experienced Medical Coders to join an exciting remote project focused on improving next-generation AI systems. Your expertise in ICD-10, CPT coding, and Evaluation & Management (E&M) guidelines will help create accurate, high-quality training data that advances AI in healthcare. No AI experience is required—your coding expertise is what matters most.

 

Responsibilities:

• Review and annotate medical records using ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Apply Evaluation & Management (E&M) coding guidelines accurately.
• Validate coding accuracy and compliance with current standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify documentation.
• Provide feedback on coding guidelines and complex scenarios.
• Support the creation of high-quality medical coding datasets for AI training.

 

Requirements:

• Active AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Experience with E&M coding guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Access to current ICD-10, CPT, and E&M reference materials.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with digital annotation or AI-related projects.
• Familiarity with diverse clinical documentation.
• Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.
