Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is hiring a Member of Technical Staff, Frontier AI to support cutting-edge AI research and development projects. This role sits at the intersection of research, machine learning, data design, and real-world AI systems.

You'll work alongside researchers and technical experts to improve AI model performance through rigorous evaluation, failure analysis, structured data design, and continuous experimentation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead research and evaluation initiatives from planning through execution.
• Design ML-oriented datasets, annotation schemas, rubrics, and evaluation frameworks.
• Analyze AI model failures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build structured evaluation methods for complex real-world AI tasks.
• Collaborate with researchers and domain experts to improve data quality.
• Develop high-quality feedback loops that improve AI system performance.
• Validate research signals and maintain data integrity.
• Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Recommend improvements to datasets, evaluation methods, and workflows.

Requirements:

• Experience designing ML datasets or evaluation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate AI model performance and identify failure patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, research-driven environments.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong ownership mindset and attention to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments.
• Knowledge of agentic AI systems.
• Experience in applied AI research or production AI environments.
• Background in evaluation design for complex AI tasks.
• Familiarity with incentive design and expert-driven workflows.
