Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking highly qualified PhD holders and academic experts to contribute their deep subject-matter expertise to the evaluation and improvement of next-generation AI systems.

 

This opportunity is open to experts across a broad range of disciplines, including technical STEM fields as well as English, literature, journalism, and other research-intensive areas.

 

You will apply research-grade rigor to evaluating AI-generated responses, identifying subtle errors, assessing reasoning quality, and helping establish expert-level performance standards.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate AI model responses within your area of expertise for accuracy, depth, and reasoning quality.
• Create expert-level prompts and reference answers.
• Provide detailed, constructive critiques of AI-generated responses.
• Apply academic research standards to identify subtle errors, unsupported conclusions, and shallow reasoning.
• Assess the quality of AI reasoning within your academic discipline.
• Help define expert-level standards for evaluating AI system performance.
• Provide clear explanations and evidence-based feedback on complex topics.

 

 

Requirements:

• Advanced expertise in an academic or research-oriented discipline.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent academic and technical writing abilities.
• Experience with critical analysis and research methodology.
• Strong ability to evaluate arguments, evidence, and reasoning.
• Excellent written English.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD from a top-ranked university.
• Background in a technical/STEM field, English, literature, journalism, or another research-intensive discipline.
• Experience with academic research, peer review, scholarly writing, or related activities.
• Based in an English-speaking country.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate sophisticated ideas clearly in written English.
