Overview:

We're looking for experienced Senior Backend Engineers to contribute to an advanced AI project by designing and developing Reinforcement Learning Environments that evaluate AI systems in real-world backend and cloud infrastructure scenarios.

 

Your expertise will help shape next-generation AI by building production-grade environments involving distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and DevOps.

 

No prior AI experience is required—your backend engineering expertise is what matters.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design realistic cloud infrastructure environments for AI evaluation.
• Build Reinforcement Learning environments for backend engineering tasks.
• Develop deterministic validation tests and reference solutions.
• Create failure scenarios for troubleshooting and recovery testing.
• Design scalable, secure distributed systems.
• Document architectures, workflows, and technical decisions.
• Collaborate remotely with engineering teams to improve project quality.

 

Requirements:

• Strong experience with C++, Python, Rust, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
• Solid DevOps and cloud infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Understanding of distributed systems and networking.
• Knowledge of IAM, message queues, storage, observability, and disaster recovery.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing large-scale backend systems.
• Strong cloud architecture and security expertise.
• Experience automating infrastructure deployments.
• Passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
• Interest in AI technologies (not required).
