Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Senior Hospitalist Clinical Reviewers to contribute to a high-impact project focused on inpatient quality, clinical documentation, and healthcare AI evaluation.

 

In this role, you'll apply your hospitalist expertise and clinical judgment to review inpatient cases, assess documentation and quality of care, identify complex or ambiguous situations, and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback.

 

This opportunity is ideal for experienced physicians who enjoy analyzing nuanced clinical situations and communicating their reasoning clearly.

 

No prior AI experience is required. Your clinical expertise and judgment are what matter.

Responsibilities:
  • Review inpatient cases for clinical quality, documentation accuracy, and appropriateness of care.
  • Apply clinical judgment to identify unclear, complex, or unusual cases.
  • Evaluate clinical information and determine appropriate conclusions based on professional standards.
  • Provide clear explanations and rationale for clinical review decisions.
  • Support the development and refinement of guidelines and review standards.
  • Document findings accurately and reference applicable clinical standards when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with project teams to clarify challenging cases and questions.
  • Identify inconsistencies, documentation issues, and areas requiring further review.
  • Help maintain consistent, high-quality review standards across assignments.
  • Contribute expert clinical insights to AI evaluation and training initiatives.
 
Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree.
  • 10+ years of attending-level hospitalist experience.
  • Strong experience in inpatient clinical practice.
  • Demonstrated clinical judgment when handling complex or ambiguous cases.
  • Experience reviewing clinical documentation and assessing quality of care.
  • Strong understanding of inpatient workflows and hospital-based medicine.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate clinical reasoning and decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with clinical quality programs.
  • Background in medical auditing or clinical review.
  • Experience with documentation improvement initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to coding, QA, or inpatient review programs.
  • Hospital quality-assurance experience.
  • Experience developing or evaluating clinical guidelines.
  • Previous experience reviewing healthcare or clinical AI outputs.
  • Strong ability to communicate nuanced clinical decisions to multidisciplinary teams.
