Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Senior Journalists, Writers, and Editors for a high-level remote opportunity supporting the development of next-generation AI systems.

 

This role involves hands-on editorial work, including evaluating AI-generated writing for clarity, accuracy, structure, tone, and professional style, as well as creating reference content that establishes a high editorial standard.

 

The ideal candidate has professional newsroom or publication experience and exceptional command of written English.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate AI-generated writing for quality, accuracy, tone, clarity, and structure.
• Review content against professional editorial and journalism standards.
• Write and edit high-quality reference pieces that demonstrate excellent output.
• Provide detailed editorial feedback and constructive recommendations.
• Rewrite content to improve accuracy, readability, structure, and overall quality.
• Apply professional journalism and editorial judgment when assessing AI-generated content.
• Help establish and refine writing standards for AI systems.
• Conduct research and fact-checking when required.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, grammar, style, and editorial consistency.

 

 

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional experience as an editor, writer, or journalist at a reputable publication.
• Experience with a publication comparable to The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Reuters, or another respected publication.
• At least part of the relevant professional experience should have been obtained within the past 7 years.
• Exceptional command of written English.
• Strong writing, editing, copyediting, and fact-checking skills.
• Strong research and storytelling abilities.
• Familiarity with AP Style and professional newsroom standards.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to evaluate written content objectively and provide precise editorial feedback.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a senior editorial, journalism, or writing role.
• Experience producing or editing high-stakes editorial content.
• Undergraduate degree from a recognized university in an English-speaking country.
• Current residence in an English-speaking country.
• Experience evaluating or editing AI-generated content.
• Familiarity with emerging AI writing and content-generation technologies.
