Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking skilled Software Developers to contribute their coding expertise to an advanced AI evaluation project.

 

In this role, you’ll create practical software-development environments that evaluate how AI systems solve real-world programming problems, including debugging code, implementing features, improving existing solutions, and producing clean, reliable code.

 

You’ll create reproducible development environments and reference solutions that help assess AI performance on realistic software engineering challenges.

 

No prior AI experience is required. Your programming expertise and ability to solve real-world software problems are what matter.

Responsibilities:

• Create clear code examples, debugging approaches, and software development solutions.
• Work with technologies such as Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, and TypeScript.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and logic errors across different codebases.
• Build small to medium-sized software features using clean and maintainable coding practices.
• Improve existing code for readability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Create reproducible development environments for software evaluation tasks.
• Develop accurate reference solutions for programming problems.
• Document your reasoning, development approach, and technical decisions.
• Review peer-contributed code and technical submissions for correctness and clarity.
• Ensure solutions reflect practical software engineering standards.

 

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of hands-on software development experience in one or more relevant programming languages.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Solid knowledge of everyday software engineering practices.
• Ability to debug real-world code and identify root causes.
• Ability to work across unfamiliar codebases and quickly understand existing implementations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good written communication and technical documentation abilities.
• Ability to explain programming decisions clearly and accurately.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python, Rust, Go, Java, C++, or TypeScript.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Android or iOS development experience.
• Experience working across multiple programming languages or technology stacks.
• Experience creating reproducible development environments.
• Familiarity with code evaluation, testing, or technical benchmarking.
• Interest in AI, machine learning, or AI coding systems.
• Previous AI experience is helpful but not required.
