SourceBridge Co. is seeking highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers to contribute to an AI training project focused on software development, technical problem-solving, debugging, system architecture, and code evaluation.

This role is designed for engineers with meaningful hands-on experience across both front-end and back-end development. You will work on challenging software-engineering tasks, evaluate solutions, debug complex systems, and help translate complete coding implementations between programming languages.

This is an opportunity to apply broad software-engineering expertise to technically demanding AI training and evaluation work.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will:
  • Develop, modify, and debug front-end and back-end application components.
  • Implement user-facing features along with the services, APIs, and data models that support them.
  • Trace requests and data across browsers, front-end applications, APIs, services, databases, and external integrations.
  • Work within unfamiliar repositories and understand existing application architecture.
  • Diagnose failures involving application state, API contracts, authentication, persistence, networking, and deployment.
  • Evaluate and improve code written in multiple programming languages.
  • Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, completeness, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Help translate full coding builds from one programming language into another while maintaining functionality and quality.

Required Skills:
  • Python
  • React
  • JavaScript
  • Java
  • Node.js
  • Rust
  • Golang
  • TypeScript

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong professional experience developing production full-stack applications.
  • Meaningful hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end engineering.
  • Production experience with multiple programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of browser applications, APIs, application state, databases, and service integrations.
  • Experience understanding and contributing to the architecture of complete software systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar codebases and repositories.
  • Strong debugging and technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to evaluate code for correctness, performance, security, maintainability, and completeness.
  • Comfortable working across different parts of the software stack rather than specializing exclusively in one layer.

Technical Areas:

The work may involve:

Front End: React, JavaScript, TypeScript, browser applications, application state, user-facing features

Back End: Python, Java, Node.js, Rust, Golang, APIs, services, databases, integrations

Engineering: Debugging, architecture, code evaluation, system integration, performance, security, maintainability, and cross-language development

Work Schedule

This is a fully remote contractor opportunity with approximately 15 hours per week.

The schedule is flexible, allowing you to choose the hours and days you work, including weekends if desired, provided project activity and submission requirements are maintained.

Hiring Process:
  1. Apply to the role and complete the screening questions.
  2. Complete an approximately 30-minute AI interview.
  3. Complete a technical assessment, if required.
  4. Proceed through the hiring manager review.

Who Should Apply?

This opportunity is particularly suited to finance researchers and quantitative finance professionals who can combine deep financial domain expertise with rigorous research and evaluation thinking.

Candidates should be comfortable asking not only whether an AI system produces a plausible financial answer, but whether its reasoning, methodology, assumptions, evidence, and conclusions are actually reliable.

Compensation Structure:

Compensation is output-based. Experts are paid per task that meets the project's specifications.

The amount of time required to complete individual tasks may vary depending on the expert's experience and workflow.

Minimum submission requirements apply, and experts must submit a minimum number of tasks per week.

Start Timeline & Availability:
