Transactional Attorney (Remote)

Overview:

SourceBridge Co. is seeking experienced Transactional Attorneys with strong in-house experience in technology transactions for a part-time opportunity at the intersection of law and artificial intelligence.

 

This role is ideal for seasoned attorneys who have extensive experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-related agreements. You will contribute your legal expertise to workflows used to train and evaluate advanced AI systems.

 

Your work will help improve how AI systems understand contract language, identify legal risks, evaluate negotiation positions, and apply sound legal judgment to real-world transactional scenarios.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform simulated contract negotiations and contract-redlining exercises.
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to transactional legal scenarios.
  • Provide expert feedback to improve AI model accuracy, reasoning, and legal judgment.
  • Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI performance on contract-related tasks.
  • Assess AI-generated contract analysis for accuracy, completeness, and practical legal judgment.
  • Collaborate with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Apply real-world transactional experience to help develop AI-powered legal tools.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.
  • Strong experience negotiating agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
  • Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback.
  • Interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with AI, legal technology, or AI training/evaluation initiatives.
  • Experience at a corporate law firm.
  • Background in M&A or private-equity fund formation.
  • Experience working on complex commercial or technology transactions.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI applications in legal services.
